Next to a series of single family houses that have been completed recently, the scaffolding of the apartment building with 31 studios in Utrecht Wisselspoor came down to reveal the black facade with ‘picture-frame’ windows that double as sound insulation boxes for the inhabitants.
Finalist: Ravel 2B
For housing corporation Rochdale we made a design for a social housing block on the Zuidas in Amsterdam. A robust, sculptural and flexible building that reacts to it’s surroundings by means of a series of cutouts from the main volume.
Win: tender Koffiefabriek Amsterdam
With the proposal ‘Fitz’ we won the circular tender for the Koffiefabriek-site in Amsterdam. Together with Lister Buildings, U-minds, Boom Landscape and many more, we set a new benchmark for circular architecture and mark the next step in our ambition to contribute to a genuine sustainable environment. More information here.
